“The less-harried Asian side of Istanbul is a greener, cleaner swath of the city that offers its own multicultural mix of Ottoman palaces, intriguing cuisine and hipster night life.”

We really enjoyed this video just because there’s not a lot of obvious info out there about the Anatolian side of Istanbul. We’re all happily heading off to Kadıköy (love the place) but, apart from some of the more relatively well known sights, we really have no idea what goes on on that side of the water. We’ve now got a few restaurants and bars to check out – a city’s nothing till you know what the peeps there get up to on a daily basis…and bars and restaurants are always a cracking start for us. 😉
There are also some great manı places, I can think of two off hand that are wonderful. I’ll have to show you next time – I can’t remember the names but know the exact spots!
